We can help you and your family settle into your new home in the UK.
No matter how many times you have moved, and how many countries you’ve lived in, each new country has its own ups and downs – where to send your kids to school, how quickly you can get into a life routine and of course how to create a home that feels like home – for you.
Every country has a new culture and different styles. You may like them or not. We want to help you create a home that will remind you of where you’ve come from (be that your original ‘home’ or any of the places you’ve visited in between that feel most ‘you’).
We start once you have chosen a home in the regions of West London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. We need to see a copy of the house details with a layout. All estate agents will be all to provide us with this.
From here we can determine a basic list of requirements.
We will send you a questionnaire to find out more about you, your needs, tastes and styles.
Are you able to meet us there? We can meet you in your new home. Or we can fly to your current residence abroad for our initial discussions.
We determine what you should ship to your new residence and what will need to be purchased from the UK.
Based on your questionnaire answers we will create a design presentation for you – paint colours, wallpapers, furniture styles, lighting ideas, flooring, heating/cooling equipment, art, accessories and whatever else is needed for the home.
We present to you if you are able to be here or via digital emailed presentations.
This can take a few weeks of sending ideas back and forth before agreeing what is needed.
On approval your goods are invoiced and we purchase and arrange delivery.
All trade work (electrics, plumbing, floor fitting, window dressings) are scheduled and overseen by us.
We arrange for all items to be delivered in an appropriate time line and the house is ready for you to move in on your chosen date.
This entire process can take as little as 16 weeks.
Reminders of where we come from and where we’ve been are comforting. We encourage children to bring ‘treasures’ to their new home and can design a scheme around these.
